Self-taught pitmaster Drew Kaplan started his journey in Fairfield County, where he loved BBQ but found few choices available. Determined to elevate the local BBQ scene, Drew took a bold step by acquiring a small smoker and delving into the art of smoking at his home. Within two months, he found himself captivated, and this revelation transformed the trajectory of his life. In 2015, Drew took his passion to the next level with the purchase of a food truck. Crafting a distinctive menu, he ventured into catering, bringing the flavors of his perfected staples—baby back ribs, brisket, pork butt, and chicken—to events throughout the community. The process of perfecting the art of smoking became not just a skill but a life passion for Drew.
